I do hope you are correct here: I'm a Baby Boomer, and I know we are not all bad, but also that we are not as materialistic as suggested. We have been cooking slow food and talking to neighbours all our lives, there was no choice when I was young. However, one tiny criticism is that "it's" is short for "it is" and not a portmanteau for "its", which means "belonging to it", e.g., "its slow seasonal roll" when you are talking about the slow seasonal roll belonging to the Earth. His, Her and Its have no apostrophe: His Belongings, Her Belongings, Its Belongings are the things which belong to Him, Her or It - no apostrophe. But when you mean "It is", then you write "It's", because there's a letter missing, and that's what the apostrophe is for. Look, I was an English teacher in a previous life, and I couldn't let my students get away with a misplaced apostrophe. 😉
Sorry for the wassnames! I'll definately make more effort to re-read my articles before I post them. it's fascinating that you remember your 'previous' life in such detail :-))
Ha ha, I meant a previous professional life, not a corporeal life, as you well know! 😂
PS, it's "definitely", not "definately" as you probably also well know... Bless.
It's strange in some ways, before I started writing a lot in French I never made spelling mistakes when writing in English. Now it's all gone to pot!
I hope the Bunks succeed!!!!
Hi Su
Yes it'd be nice! Have a great 2025

It would be great if Bunk became a trend!
