I have similar concerns, in particular that the move towards tidal power, which will take energy out of the oceans’ tides, will have a very serious effect on the moon, causing drag which will slow the moon in its orbit and eventually halt it. Where it will halt is a moot point and also which way round it will end up. Much of these problems can be solved if we finally accept the obvious fact that the Earth is in fact flat and supported by a turtle. Keep up the good work, without thinking too hard!
